Check out some of Joe’s guitars, amps and pedals of mass destruction used in both studio and live situations.

4 of my main strats I used on my last solo record -Pearl White ESP custom shop strat , 2 Fender Custom Shop 30th anniversary Yngwie Malmsteen signature models (Candy red and Sonic blue ) and an older 2003 Malmsteen model.
My setup for video recording (use it for studio action as well) Boss WAZA Craft TAE and Marshall YJM 100.

A collection of strats lined up in my home studio/work room ready for action various Yngwie and Blackmore models from varying eras and the sonic blue one is one of the 30th anniversary Fender Custom shop Malmsteen models -killer sounding guitar and I use it quite a bit for recording these days (played it a ton on Alcatrazz V and Diabolical Ferocity).
3 of ESP strats , the purple E-II SN is my newest to the ESP collection , the middle candy red is a heavily modded LTD ST-213 ( too bad they stopped making that model I loved the ST’s ) and the pearl white strat on the end is one of my favorite custom shop models .

This one one of my favorite guitars -it’s a Japanese Edwards Ritchie Blackmore model , it’s got a custom loaded pickguard courtesy of Dirk at Singlecoil.com and Bernd Meiser at BSM . Hand wound single coil pickups and a master tone circuit (aka Spice Box ) that give me a wide range of killer Blackmore induced tones . I use this for all and any of my Ritchie type things when recording and use it all the time live with my Blackmore /Rainbow tribute band Black Knight’s Castle.
Took that pic while recording my last solo record Diabolical Ferocity – an older (circa like 2003 Yngwie signature strat with the Dimarzios and one of my old grey DOD 250 overdrives ) used that old school early Yngwie setup on King of The Underworld for the new record.

Needless to say I’m a Marshall enthusiast – collection of my heads and cabs – featured in the pics are: 4 Mark 2 early 70’s 50 watters (the top head all the way to the right up on the 70’s basket weave vintage cabs is a 1971 50 that used to belong to Yngwie Malmsteen). 2 later 70’s Mark 2 50’s with the master volume, large logo and white piping (like the ones Michael Schenker used to use back in the early days of MSG ). Also 2 Marshall YJM Yngwie Malmsteen signature 50/100 watt head – killer sounding like if you took everything about an old Marshall and made it more high fidelity. A 70’s 100 watt Super lead with a Blackmore type mod in it courtesy of Voodoo Amps.
Another pic taken recording my last solo record Boss NS-2 noise gate , my old Boss OC-2 octave box and a Guitar Slinger RB 1011 treble booster -awesome sounding box for Blackmore type tones – used these on the very heavily Blackmore influenced- The Snake Charmers Fate from the last record.

Old school Yngwie pedal setup , I use for daily practice/playing and some recording as well. Boss NS-2 Noise Gate and old grey DOD 250 overdrive.
